              Picture
2 year old filly that came in the beginning of December for breaking & training.  She had 30 days of ground work done with her as a yearling & since the first of the year she has had a half dozen rides on her.   This filly is one of several that we have broke & prepped for the race track for these clients.  She is a very friendly, forward filly that seems to love a job.  More pictures to come as her training progresses.

              9.     SHAMROCK SOCKS

              Picture

              "BOO BOO"
2008 AQHA Bay Gelding who stands about 15.1 hands.  He has a power packed build, but floats when he moves.  Boo Boo is sired by one of the hottest up & coming sires out there - BHR Frenchies Socks & out of Touchtone Delight by Touch Of Joy.  His dam was a solid 1D Barrel horse whom won a go round at the Florida NBHA State Show.

Boo Boo was broke in the spring of his 3 year old year and then lightly started on the Barrel Pattern.  He was turned out for the rest of the year.  He was just brought back in training with MR Performance Horses in December.  We will be prepping him for the 5 year old Barrel Futurities.  Please check back for more updates on how his training progresses.  More pictures to follow.

Owned by Crystal Shumate & MR Performance Horses

Quick update on his sire BHR FRENCHIES SOCKS
He has a very limited number of foal crops with limited babies out there.  His first crop included Joyces Guy whom was ridden by Talmadge Green to nearly $20,000 in earnings.  The next crop included the Futurity Stand out - KISS THIS GUY whom has won numerous futurities, jackpots, and has earned over $90,000 in his first year of competition.  He also had a 2011 Florida NBHA State show 1D qualifier as well as many other jackpot money earners.  This December started the next foal crop to compete.  They debuted at the 2011 Barrel Futurities of America in Oklahoma City.  Derek Piel rode GO TOO GUY to a top 10 finish in the 1st go of the Juvenile & a Top 12 Finish in the Average, while Ryann Pedone rode HOLLAND GUY to a Top 10 finish in the Average!!!  This sire is just starting his stallion career and has some FABULOUS BABIES out there.

              11.    COMANCHE

              Picture
2008 Red & White Paint Pony.  Stands about 13 hands.  Comanche has had some training & is in for some more extensive schooling.  We worked with him the first week in the round pen, and have since gotten him to walk, trot, lope both ways while giving to the bit.  He is starting to ride nice, stay between your reins and legs, while being soft in the mouth.

After a solid 30-40 days of getting a basic foundation & handle on Comanche we have now lightly started him on the Barrels & Poles.
