"Dos" is his barn name, as in #2 in Spanish! A 1999 AQHA Palomino Gelding. He stands 15.2 hands tall. He came into our barn in August 2009 as a blown up barrel horse. We took our time and got Dos riding quiet at the farm in the fall of 2009 before turning him out for close to a year for a mental break from Barrels. Bringing him back into the barn in summer of 2010 we used Dos on the farm to pony colts and get back into shape before slowly coming back to the barrel pattern. He has now been running barrels for almost 6 months and is back running consitant 2D times and has even been clocking in the 1D and picked up a few 1D checks!! Dos is offered for sale to the right home only, sorry no kids! Contact us for more details. Rex Amos 352-875-8180 or Mandy 352-342-6807

He has been hauled to a lot of jackpots and rodeos to see all the sights and hear the sounds. Lightly started on the barrels and has gone through the poles a few times. Frankee is Futurity eligible and is PAID IN FULL to the Future Fortunes & the Triple Crown 100 as well as being eligible for the JB Quarter Horses Incentives. Frankee is sired by the World Champion CHASIN FIREWATER and out of a daughter of LUCKS CHIC GAY. Frankee has a great pedigree and has a very promising future as a Futurity Horse and then on to a Rodeo horse.

"LUCY" is a 2008 AQHA Palomino Filly. As a late two year old she stands a solid 14.2 with a short back & cannon bones. Lucy has a willing mind and a great disposition. Lucy is sired by Barbedwire Special an own son of the AQHA Triple Crown Winner~ Special Effort. Out of a daughter of La Jollas Gold, who is by the legendary Streakin La Jolla. Lucy was rode by Rex for 2 weeks in August in the round pen. Getting her soft in the face, light in your hands, and moving off your legs an body weight. We look forward to ponying a few horses off Lucy and getting her started on cattle. Lucy will be started on the barrel pattern this fall when we feel she is ready. She will then be prepped for the 2011-2012 Barrel Racing Futurities. Please check back for more updates as her training begins with MR Performance Horses. We are very excited about this sweet filly. "Ed" picture taken July 18th 2010. Ed is a 2007 APHA Palomino Gelding. Currently standing 15.2 hands and will be at least 16 hands when finished. This colt as a 2 year old was used to hauling, ties/cross ties, bathes, lunging, being clipped and so much more. Ed stands quiet for the vet/blacksmith. This colt has the breeding, size, and athletic ability to take you to the top! He has all the turn/rate with his sires pedigree and with the speed from his dam whom was AAA on the race track, leaving the perfect amount of turn and burn. Ed was started in January 2009 with ground and round pen work. Under saddle developing all the essentials needed to go to any performance arena. Riding quietly at the walk, trot, lope, with a good stop and back. Leg yields, breaks at the poll, side passes and starting to neck rein! A superb athlete that really uses his hind end, and naturally gets underneath himself. This is a quiet colt that is easy to train, he is the nicest colt I broke in 2009. Being hauled to shows a few times a month and getting used to all the sights, traffic, and sounds.
Rex & Ed on July 28th 2010. Ed is currently 16 hands and STILL growing.
Update 7-15-09 Ed is working cattle great!! For a big colt
he has an awesome
handle and is very catty!! Ed has been started on the barrels too.
Currently he is walking/jogging the pattern, and just started loping
up to the barrels and jogging around them. He saw the barrels about
ten times this summer and has a super mind and really retains all his
training. He will be kicked out to pasture to grow up some and have a
break.
Update 10-18-09 Ed is back in training after having
three months off! He has such a handle on him. Bends, and
counterbends great with a super soft feel. You can ride this horse in
anything from a shanked bit, snaffle, to a halter and lead rope and he
will break at the poll and ride like an older horse. He is the best
broke horse in my barn, and is used for everything from ponying horses,
opening gates, and has even had a rope thrown off him. Ed will see the
pattern for a few more rides this fall and get used on cattle even
more!

UPDATE: July 11, 2010 Rex & Ed and ponying a training colt. Ed is super broke horse, and is used extensively to pony new horses, and to work cattle. Ed does not see barrels at the house during the week, but has a mind more like a seasoned horse. He is being hauled weekly to the practice pen to work on the barrels and starting to exhibition an run for a time at the end of the barrel races. Ed is a very smart gelding an we look forward to having some videos of him working the barrels soon.
*Price is subject to change - as he gets prepped for Futurities* This gelding can be sold with additional training & campaigning
*****SOLD***** Congrats to Rebekah & Diana Sheubrooks ~ August 2010
"CASH" 2004 Sorrel Gelding. Absolutely gorgeous, with four white feet, and a blaze. Stands 15.1 hands tall. Future Fortunes Enrolled! A very classy horse, that is super broke, and a pleasure to ride, and backed with a power packed pedigree (Firewater Flit, Dash For Cash, & Easy Jet). Raised from a yearling, MR Performance Horses broke and trained Cash, aiming him toward the barrel racing. Wanting to try the Futurity scene herself and then finish Cash for a rodeo horse.
Here is a video of Cash under saddle as a four year old:
You wont find a better stud than Cash! You can take
him to the breeding shed and collect him, and back at the farm or at an
arena he rides off quiet along side of mares! If you did not know this
horse, you would not know he is a stud.
He placed Top 10 at his two Juvenile Futurities! 12th in the
Fabulous Fifty Futurity Slot Race, and clocked a .5 second off at the
BFA World Show Futurity. Placed 3rd out of 300 at a Tour Of Champion
Race, was the AQHA Regional Reserve Champions, and qualified for the
2009 NBHA Open World Show. Now a five year old he is winning &
placing at jackpots, is an AQHA Point Earner, and his first open rodeo
he placed 4th against some tough Florida horses. Cash is super
athletic, knows his job and is EASY to ride!
August 2009 Currently Cash is with Layna & Hoby Kight of Wills Point, Texas. He placed at his first jackpot in Texas, and then equaled an arena record with Hoby at the next barrel race. Cash is clocking with some really nice horses, and being seasoned to the rodeos with Layna! He is being hauled and will debut shortly in the Rodeos if not sold! Check back for more updates.... **A solid 1D horse in Texas & Florida**
Sold on September 19th 2009 to Paula Moore of Texas.
Thank you so much Layna & Hoby Kight who acted as the selling agent for this sale.
