"Tanner" a gorgeous yearling APHA Gelding. He came into our barn in the beginning of October for breaking and training. He was still a stud colt, barely halter broke, hard to catch and not trusting of people! Gelded promptly, followed by two solid weeks of gentling, handling and round pen work he was turning into a REALLY NICE horse. Thank you Rebecca Nathanson & David Tanner for your business. Please watch the videos of his training progress below.
2008 AQHA Bay Gelding that came in for breaking & training the beginning of September. With several weeks of ground work we then began riding "Deacon." He had a month of riding in the round pen learning all the basics of collection, flexing, & moving off leg. The month before he shipped Deacon was hauled several times a week to arenas, practice pens & jackpots to get rode around & exposed to sights & sounds. Deacon is a very nice colt, that is a super nice mover.

gotten her to break at the poll, not brace on the bit, collect, move off body
weight an leg pressure. Then when she was ready he went to the barrels. Update: 6/5~ We are now

Bear with about 30 days in the round pen. He has a great foundation on
him and rides like a show horse. He really breaks at the poll and
collects himself. Bear had about 45 days on the barrel pattern and was
loping through slowly and was hauled to a few local arenas.

"Ellie" ~ a 7 year old Sorrel AQHA mare that came in for a tune
up on the barrel pattern in October 2009. Ellie had been to a reining
trainer an spent a considerable amount of time in barrel training in

with the first barrel. With about 45 days Ellie had a lot of riding to
soften her mouth, freshen her head an get a better foundation on the
barrels. She was hauled lightly an won a check in the 3D at Williston
